Aleppo / Marseille Soaps: A Virtuous Alliance
Explore our collection of Aleppo / Marseille Soaps, a perfect fusion of the virtues of Aleppo soap, Marseille soap and donkey milk. Made with 20% Aleppo shavings, this soap offers a unique experience. The presence of bay laurel oil in Aleppo soap restores the skin's protective hydrolipidic film and gives it antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is reputed to soothe sensitive skin, and helps regulate sebum. Marseille soap is often appreciated for its moisturising and nourishing properties, thanks to its olive oil, and is recommended for dry skin. Finally, donkey milk regenerates and softens. It protects the skin from sagging, preserving its elasticity.
Traditional soaps
Tradition is also at the heart of this range. Our Marseille soap cubes, with at least 72% fat (olive oil, copra oil, etc.), offer exceptional cleansing properties for the skin. Made under the supervision of a master soap-maker, these soaps are hot-milled using ancient methods. This olive oil soap contains no palm oil, colouring agents, preservatives or fragrances.
The flakes, made from Marseille soap shavings, are ideal for hand-washing delicate textiles and making natural washing powder.
